TRIEVR is a product operated by REMETREX, Inc., a SaaS platform that enables regulated product manufacturers and distributors to manage and communicate product recall information to affected customers. Our principal place of business is in the United States.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information, including phone numbers collected for SMS recall notifications.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Contact information: name, mobile phone number, email address, organization or facility name
- Consent records: date, time, and method by which you agreed to receive SMS notifications
- Product records: product codes, lot numbers, and serial numbers associated with your purchase or distribution history, as provided by manufacturers
- Message interaction data: delivery status, opt-out requests, and acknowledgment responses to recall notifications

- Sending SMS recall notifications for products you have purchased or distributed, as directed by the product manufacturer
- Recording your acknowledgment and confirmation of receipt of recall notices
- Enabling manufacturers to demonstrate compliance with FDA product recall communication requirements under 21 CFR Parts 7 and 806
- Managing opt-in and opt-out preferences
- Maintaining consent records required by applicable regulations and carrier guidelines
- Operating and improving the TRIEVR platform

4. SMS Messaging and Consent
If you have enrolled in TRIEVR SMS recall notifications:
- Consent to receive SMS messages is voluntary and is not a condition of purchase or use of service
- Message frequency varies based on the number of active product recalls that affect your products
- Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan
- You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any TRIEVR message. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages will be sent

5. How We Share Your Information
We may share your information with:
- Product manufacturers and distributors: to confirm that recall notifications have been delivered and acknowledged
- Twilio, Inc.: our SMS delivery provider, which processes phone numbers to transmit messages on our behalf. Twilio is bound by data processing agreements consistent with this policy
- Regulatory authorities: if required by law, subpoena, or FDA audit or inspection
- Service providers: cloud infrastructure and database providers operating under confidentiality obligations
6. Data Retention
We retain consent records and message logs for a minimum of seven (7) years to support manufacturer compliance documentation and potential regulatory audit requirements. You may request deletion of your personal information subject to any applicable legal retention requirements by contacting us below.
7. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. These include access controls, encrypted data transmission (TLS), and secure cloud infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services.
